Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing kitchen cleaning and storage activities, and janitorial duties in various dining services areas. This role ensures all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities comply with sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dishwashing and pot washing duties
• Conduct general and equipment cleaning
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other dining areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
