Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, handling food in accordance with sanitary procedures, and maintaining cleanliness in dining service areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Conduct general cleaning of kitchen and equipment
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other related dining areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities according to sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures for food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
