Dishwasher

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas of Barcadia Bar & Grill. This includes dishwashing, pot washing, equipment cleaning, and proper handling of food and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Conduct general and equipment cleaning in kitchen and dining areas
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other associated dining activity areas
• Handle all food, storage, and cleaning activities according to sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
