Dishwasher

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing, pot washing, and general cleaning. The dishwasher also handles storage and rotation of food and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform dishwashing and pot washing activities
• Clean general kitchen areas and equipment
• Store and rotate food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other associated dining areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long period, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
