About This Role

Responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dishwashing, pot washing, and general equipment cleaning. This role also involves janitorial duties in dining service areas and ensuring compliance with sanitary procedures and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Conduct general and equipment cleaning in the kitchen area
• Handle storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining areas such as Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities according to sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
