Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, primarily focusing on dish washing, pot washing, general cleaning, and equipment cleaning. This role ensures all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities comply with sanitary procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Engage in general kitchen and equipment cleaning
• Handle storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Execute janitorial duties in dining services areas such as Dining Room, Bistro, and other associated areas
• Ensure all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities are in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
