Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dish washing, pot washing, and general equipment cleaning. This role ensures all food and supplies are stored and rotated correctly while maintaining janitorial duties in dining service areas in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Engage in general and equipment cleaning activities
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Carry out janitorial duties in various dining service areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
