Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, ensuring sanitary conditions and compliance with all food safety regulations. This role involves cleaning dishes, pots, equipment, and maintaining overall cleanliness in dining service areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Clean general kitchen areas and equipment
• Store and rotate food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other dining service areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
