Director of Program Review & Effectiveness

About This Role

The Director of Graduate Program Review and Effectiveness organizes and coordinates all activities related to graduate academic program review, ensuring departments, schools, and programs are well-supported. This role implements systematic periodic reviews, collaborates with leaders for training, and works with data systems for queries and support.

Responsibilities

• Implement a systematic periodic review of graduate programs informed by best practices and aspirational peer institutions, aligning with SACSCOC and CHE needs
• Provide detailed information to support continuous quality improvement of graduate education at Clemson
• Incorporate external review into the program review process
• Work with Graduate School leaders to provide training to faculty reviewers, program coordinators, department chairs, and other leaders involved in graduate program review
• Ensure Graduate School policies and processes align with SACSCOC accreditation needs
• Obtain basic mastery of current and future university systems for data queries and summary table construction
• Provide support to programs and the graduate dean using university data systems
• Work on special projects assigned by the graduate dean to ensure university compliance with CHE needs
• Lead the Graduate School annual assessment process, coordinating all details of required reporting from planning to final assessment

Requirements

• Master's Degree and experience in university academic assessment
• 3+ years work experience
