Director, Finance

About This Role

The Director of Finance will oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and asset/liability management for Kitsap Credit Union. This role ensures the integrity of financial planning and contributes to strategic financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting and budgeting, including projecting Balance Sheet and Income Statement
• Report on actual to budget performance and prepare reports for Management and Board of Directors
• Contribute to improvements in the overall budget and forecasting process
• Analyze costs, activities, operations, and forecasts data to determine departmental progress
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including reviews, analysis, and interpretations
• Establish projects and goals for each area of responsibility and track performance
• Contribute to the development and execution of balance sheet and liquidity strategies
• Prepare/contribute to asset/liability and finance committee materials
• Manage large confidential data sets involving deposit and loan data for statistical analysis
• Develop and maintain pricing models for loan and share products

Requirements

• 8+ years of related work experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related work experience.

Nice to Have

• CPA strongly preferred
• Experience in a bank or credit union
