This Director role in Business Transformation within Corporate Finance drives revenue growth and optimizes cost efficiencies for clients. The role involves managing project activities, applying analytical skills to client situations, and developing actionable implementation plans.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including interaction with team members, professionals from other firms, and client personnel
- Apply business, operational, finance, and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., financial modeling, comparable company analysis, reviewing projections, assessing business plans, conducting operational due diligence)
- Perform technical and analytical assessments to develop actionable road maps and implementation plans
- Develop hypotheses and strategic observations in ambiguous situations to ground objectives and plans
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and skills to synthesize, summarize, and gain insights from large amounts of unstructured data
- Maintain detailed working records reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information
- Ensure quality product delivery and completion of all work within established timeframes
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties on project scope, findings, and results
- Research and organize information to facilitate effective data access and analysis
- Contribute to team building through business development initiatives and drafting Thought Leadership articles
Requirements
- 5 years relevant post-graduate experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, or another quantitative field
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, or another quantitative field
- 5 years relevant post-graduate experience, preferably 5 years of relevant experience with a management consulting firm, a top-tier tech / consumer products company, a private equity firm, or an investment bank

- 5 years of relevant experience with a management consulting firm, a top-tier tech / consumer products company, a private equity firm, or an investment bank
- Excellent analytical skills, with proven experience in data cleansing, building models, distilling insights, and creating recommendations to resolve complex problems
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Power BI, Excel Macro / VBA, Think-Cell, and/or Tableau or other business analytics tools
- Strong project planning and time management skills
- Demonstrated passion for driving change and ability to drive impact for clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaborative work style, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
- Desire to act as mentors for more junior colleagues
