Dining Room Server

About This Role

Serve meals in an assisted living community, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents through quality service and maintaining a clean dining environment. This role contributes to the comfort and well-being of elders.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents following proper service etiquette
• Place orders with the kitchen for resident meal choices and ensure satisfaction
• Prepare table condiments prior to service
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including vacuuming after each meal
• Reset dining room tables after sanitation and cleaning
• Refill sugar caddies and salt/pepper shakers
• Insert daily menus and clean menu holders
• Maintain beverage and server pantry
• Launder cloth napkins, aprons, and kitchen towels
• Clean all beverage machines (coffee, juice & soda)
• Adjust all blinds as needed to be uniform
• Stock pub area with condiments, paper goods, beverages, and snacks
• Assist dietary aide and chef as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Demonstrated dietary experience
• Must be sensitive to the needs of elders and disabled individuals
