Provide comprehensive service to customers as a Diesel Service Technician, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various truck and RV systems. Ensure high-quality work and excellent customer service while maintaining professional conduct and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, and removal/installation of parts and attachments on diesel vehicles.
- Conduct disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.
- Execute PM & Brakes, Diagnostics, Steering, Driveline, Air Conditioning, Electrical, Engine, and Transmission services.
- Obtain and maintain 100% Certified Technician Status with LMS, Cummins, and other OEMs, attending hands-on classes as required.
- Perform repairs correctly and efficiently with a strong work ethic.
- Review customer concerns and service history to diagnose vehicle complaints using online OEM resources.
- Monitor and communicate professionally with IKnow, EDS, and other OEM case files.
- Obtain required information and documentation for warranty claims.
- Perform courtesy inspections, communicate additional repair/preventative maintenance needs, and verify service quality.
- Promote a safe and clean work environment and proper use/care of company tools.
Requirements
- Ability to be insurable and drive a vehicle
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL with appropriate endorsements (if required)
