The Engineer II - CICD DevOps role focuses on developing and managing automated workflows for deploying, managing, and supporting CrowdStrike’s production services. This remote position contributes to enhancing the reliability and efficiency of critical security services through robust architecture and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated CICD pipelines to support production deployments
- Provision and administer on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration tools
- Manage and optimize artifact repositories and integration tools to ensure smooth deployment workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery procedures for critical services
- Document processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance
- Participate in security reviews and implement best practices for cybersecurity within deployment pipelines
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve infrastructure and automation practices
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in large-scale production environments
- Proficiency with Kubernetes (k8s), ArgoCD, FluxCD, and container management
- Experience with Jenkins and JCASC for continuous integration and deployment
- Knowledge of artifact repository services (JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, Atlassian Stack)
- Familiarity with IaaS provisioning tools like Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet
- Strong scripting skills in Python, REST APIs, Groovy, or similar languages
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration in hybrid environments
- Understanding of monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery strategies
- Excellent documentation skills
- U.S. citizenship and presence on U.S. soil
- Effective communication skills
