This role is for a skilled Deployment Technician responsible for providing desktop support, performing operating system upgrades, and configuring computer hardware. The position supports end users and ensures smooth technology operations, contributing to an efficient IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive desktop support to resolve technical issues for end users
- Perform upgrades to Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, ensuring seamless transitions
- Execute PC refresh and lifecycle refresh processes to maintain optimal system performance
- Configure and deploy computer hardware, ensuring proper installation and functionality
- Manage Active Directory tasks, including user account creation and maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to address deployment challenges and deliver solutions
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, deployments, and system updates
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolve hardware and software issues effectively
- Support end users with technical inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or IT deployments
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including operating systems and applications
- Familiarity with Active Directory and its functionalities
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and configuration processes
- Experience in managing deployments and system upgrades
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and ensure user satisfaction
