Provide comprehensive, compassionate part-time dental care to elderly patients in Bakersfield, CA, focusing on comfort, respect, and proper oral health directly at their facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to elderly patients, including routine exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and dentures
- Conduct oral health assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer tailored recommendations
- Educate patients on maintaining good oral hygiene and preventing dental issues specific to aging populations
- Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Ensure a comfortable and safe environment for elderly patients, adapting to physical or cognitive limitations
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Current state dental license and other required certifications
- Experience in geriatric dentistry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Experience in geriatric dentistry.
