Dental Treatment Coordinator

About This Role

The Dental Treatment Coordinator supports the delivery of care within the Student Dental Clinic by coordinating treatment transitions, patient education, and administrative logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment transitions, patient education, and administrative logistics within UK HealthCare Dentistry
• Serve as a liaison between general dentists, dental students, supervising faculty, and other specialty providers
• Verify insurance coverage and facilitate financial arrangements prior to treatment
• Coordinate appointments for procedures, imaging, or related consultations
• Ensure treatment plans are accurately entered into the EHR
• Help patients understand the clinical and emotional aspects of their dental care
• Monitor case acceptance rates and follow up with patients throughout the course of care
• Support the effectiveness of the Orthodontics clinics teams

Requirements

• 4 years of related experience

Qualifications

• HS
• 4 years of related experience, 4 or more years of related experience preferred

Nice to Have

• BLS certification
