About This Role

Inspire and mentor future dental professionals by providing hands-on education in dental assisting. This part-time role involves teaching classes directly in a dental office setting, leveraging your chair-side experience to equip students with the skills needed for entry-level positions.

Responsibilities

Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum, which may utilize lab stations
Demonstrate dental skills/procedures and assist students as they practice hands-on in the lab
Evaluate individual/group performance and make any necessary adjustments to meet student learning needs
Enforce classroom management and ensure adherence to safety precautions
Convey curriculum and pertinent skills via lecture and hands-on demonstrations

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Radiology Instructor License
5+ years of recent dental assistant or chair-side experience
CPR/BLS certification
Familiarity with Dentrix
General Dentistry skills and procedures experience
Basic computer skills (emailing, printing, scanning, troubleshooting, connecting to WiFi)
Ability to commute to location(s)

Qualifications
