About This Role

Join Fusion Dental as an X-ray certified Dental Assistant, leveraging state-of-the-art technology to provide exceptional patient care, assist dentists, and manage office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring comfort and providing education throughout treatment
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history for quality care
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
  • Provide superior chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during various procedures
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
  • Prepare treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA & CDC recommendations)
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, including placing and expediting orders
  • Partner with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a dental setting
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
  • MD X-ray certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards; regular HIPAA training required

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a dental setting

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of experience in a dental setting
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental Assisting school certification
