This role involves supporting dentists in providing exceptional patient care, managing dental procedures, and maintaining a smooth clinic workflow. The Dental Assistant will greet patients, review health history, take X-rays, and provide chairside assistance using state-of-the-art technology.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment
- Provide appropriate education to patients throughout their treatment
- Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
- Provide superior chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA & CDC recommendations
- Manage supply and inventory levels, and place and expedite orders
- Partner with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
Requirements
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
- 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant required
Nice to Have
- Dentrix or other dental software experience
- Dental assisting school certification in NV
