Delivery Driver / Paint Supplies

About This Role

This part-time Delivery Driver position is responsible for delivering paint and related products to local customers and assisting with various in-store tasks. The role ensures efficient and safe product delivery while maintaining excellent customer service and vehicle upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle in accordance with state and federal laws
• Maintain company vehicle and alert supervisor to repair needs
• Handle delivery documents and paperwork flow
• Alert Sales Representatives to potential sales leads from customers
• Clean and maintain assigned areas and equipment
• Deliver products to customers, ensuring quality and service expectations are met
• Load and unload merchandise safely and securely
• Validate correct shipments with customers at delivery sites
• Return materials, color matches, and tools from customers to the store/warehouse
• Assist in filling orders and proper staging
• Pick up merchandise from local vendors as needed
• Assist with inside customer service, including serving customers and processing orders
• Answer telephones professionally and knowledgeably, taking customer orders
• Match packing slips with purchase orders
• Properly dispose of waste cans and products in compliance with regulations

Requirements

• Must be licensed to operate vehicle in accordance with state, federal, and provincial law
• Must have acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO
• Must be able to continuously lift up to 70 pounds
• Ability to pass a drug screen
