Delivery Driver

About This Role

Safely transport materials over designated routes, ensuring prompt and courteous deliveries to customers. This role involves verifying material accuracy, performing vehicle inspections, and assisting with warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials over designated routes, ensuring safe operation of vehicles
• Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of orders
• Ensure materials loaded on the truck are as listed on the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and secured for safe transport
• Unload materials for customers at each delivery location while verifying material correctness based on the Ship Ticket
• Perform daily detailed inspection of vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety
• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion

Requirements

• Previous professional experience operating a commercial motor vehicle (GVWR 10,001+ lbs.) within the last 36 months
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
• Minimum of three (3) years of driving history
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) with strict violation criteria
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems
• Strong skills in reading, writing, performing basic calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis
• Ability to work independently while managing a variety of tasks accurately and with attention to detail in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 75 pounds

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience operating a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,001 lbs. or more within the last 36 months, with a minimum of one (1) year of such experience.
