This role involves prioritizing daily tasks, managing product orders, and collaborating with team members in the Deli Department to ensure product quality and customer service. You will contribute to Heinen's reputation for quality products and outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs
- Acquire and share knowledge of Deli Department products
- Coordinate product orders using effective pars and planning
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks including scanning, recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising
- Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards
- Attend required corporate meetings and training classes
- Comply with all personal and food safety company standards
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to work independently
- Production driven with ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks while standing
- Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Able to work a non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings
