DC Material Handler

About This Role

Operate lift trucks and other material handling equipment to receive and deliver raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to production lines and storage areas, ensuring accurate record-keeping and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate a lift truck, transporter, receiving and delivering raw materials, finished goods, supplies and ingredients to and from production lines and storage area
• Record information as required on manual, computer, and other systems
• Ensure scanning accuracy to/from Distribution
• Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader
• Be PIV Certifiable
• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in MES applications
• Provide back-up & relief support for Receiving Office, MOTC, Cheese Dock, CSR, Shock Watch duties, Order Pull, KPIP, Line Pulls, Palletizer Operations, Sanitation duties for DC positions
• Be capable of performing all hourly DC positions, including upgrade positions
• Accountable for Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards compliance
• Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving

Requirements

• Ability to acquire all PIV licenses (3-Wheel, 4-Wheel, 4-Wheel High, High-Reach Sidewinder, Hand Jack, Walkie Rider, Clamp Truck, Slip-Sheeter)
• Ability to accurately perform systems such as Matrics, SAP, MS Office, Vision Pro
• Certified in material handling (battery changing)
