Data Solutions Analyst

About This Role

The Data Solutions Analyst will design and deliver analytics solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on interactive Power BI dashboards to drive business decisions. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to translate complex data into visual stories and automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions
• Build integrated Power Platform solutions (Power Automate workflows, Power Apps applications, Power Query data transformations)
• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Collaborate with business development teams, attorneys, and leadership to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines connecting internal systems and external data sources
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, serving as product owner for analytics deliverables
• Work cross-functionally on data integration, quality assurance, and problem resolution
• Leverage artificial intelligence resources to enhance work product and internal processes

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
• Advanced Power BI expertise including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, report design, and dashboard UX principles
• Exceptional ability to communicate data insights to non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and manipulation
• Robust data analytics skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to take initiative without established guidelines and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to independently research complex problem areas, facilitate meetings and high-level decision-making processes
• Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands while meeting deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position's duties may be considered.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Foundation, DealCloud (or other CRM system), Aderant, Vuture/Marigold, and federal/state agency data sources
• Experience with other data visualization and data management platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Azure Data Studio)
• Python experience (pandas, requests, beautifulsoup, selenium)
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and facilitating data-driven discussions
• Experience with APIs, JSON, and web-based data sources
