Data Risk & Privacy Manager

About This Role

This VP-Level Data Risk & Privacy Manager supports the development, implementation, and operation of Natixis CIB Americas' Data Risk Management and Privacy Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in collaboration with Information Security, Legal, and Compliance functions.

Responsibilities

• Setting standards and reviewing policies and procedures compliant with local regulations across all countries of operation
• Analyzing business processes and requirements for alignment with Data Risk Management and Privacy policies
• Continuously monitoring changes to local laws and regulations
• Conducting independent assessments of data management and privacy operations accuracy, completeness, and adequacy
• Participating in data management and privacy risk tracking, trending, analysis, and reporting
• Developing and delivering privacy training to various business functions

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Privacy and/or Data Risk Management
• Strong knowledge of data privacy and data protection regulations and major privacy frameworks
• Proven track record in managing and enhancing control processes
• Experience in developing and implementing risk management programs
• Experience interacting with regulators (e.g., FRB, NYDFS, CFTC, FINRA, SEC)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
• Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or Risk Management
• 5-7 years of experience specifically related to Privacy and/or Data Risk Management

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry
• Experience with GRC tools and other risk management information systems
