Data Entry Clerk

About This Role

The Data Entry Clerk will meticulously organize and format client files, ensuring data accuracy and identifying inconsistencies, operating on a contract basis with a transition to a hybrid schedule after training.

Responsibilities

• Organize and reformat client files from various formats into standardized templates
• Identify and correct missing data fields, character count issues, and discrepancies in physical addresses
• Detect duplicate records and other potential errors within datasets
• Assist in preparing mail merges with precision and efficiency
• Support the creation and management of files for streamlined operations
• Collaborate closely with team members to maintain data accuracy and consistency
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze files for inaccuracies
• Ensure all data is formatted to meet company standards and requirements
• Contribute to the overall cleanup and organization of data systems

Requirements

• Proven experience in data entry or related roles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Familiarity with handling large datasets and mail merge processes
• Basic understanding of formatting and data manipulation techniques
