Lead and manage a team of Engineering Trainers and Apprenticeship Skills Coaches, ensuring the delivery of an innovative and robust curriculum for MTC Training. This role involves monitoring learner progress, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with employer partners to support apprentices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of trainers and skills coaches.
- Monitor, track, and report on learner progress.
- Develop high-quality teaching materials aligned with apprenticeship standards.
- Support curriculum planning and continuous improvement.
- Provide careers advice and guidance throughout the learner journey.
- Drive innovation in teaching, learning, and assessment.
Requirements
- Full teaching qualification
- Assessor qualification (TAQA L3 or equivalent)
- Minimum Level 3 in Engineering qualification
- Significant experience in education (F.E, H.E, or apprenticeships)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams and learners
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and assessment requirements
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Qualifications
- Full teaching qualification and assessor qualification (TAQA L3 or equivalent). Qualified to minimum Level 3 in Engineering.
- Significant experience in education (F.E, H.E, or apprenticeships).
