Provide critical feedback and recommendations as a Cultural Consultant to RADIAS Health's Culture and Community Advisory Committee. This role shapes culturally responsive clinical programming and operational practices for a non-profit mental health service provider.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the RADIAS Health Culture and Community Advisory Committee meetings every other month for 60-90 minutes
- Share insights and community perspectives on strategies for engaging communities who may benefit from services
- Provide feedback on services to facilitate culturally congruent and responsive service delivery
- Share perceptions on factors influencing disparities in service outcomes
- Discuss newly forming programs to recommend strategies for integrating cultural competency
- Bring forth ideas for community engagement and assertive outreach
- Offer additional context on communities served and potential impact on care delivery
- Provide feedback and recommendations on strategies for building and maintaining operational practices that support community needs
Requirements
- Experience completing agency or community needs assessment
- Experience developing and implementing change management processes
- Experience developing and delivering training
- Experience supporting or managing programming related to equity, diversity, or inclusion
- Experience supporting an individual in their life through their recovery process
