About This Role

The Clinical Lead Mental Health Practitioner will provide treatment services and clinical direction in a group home setting to adults with serious persistent mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders, promoting recovery and community integration.

Responsibilities

Oversee a group home with four residents
Provide supervision and clinical direction to staff
Coordinate client care, including medical, psychiatric, and dental appointments
Coordinate with community professionals, treatment teams, and hospital staff
Update client treatment plans, crisis plans, and other assessments
Conduct weekly staff meetings at the house
Assist staff during licensing and audit visits
Develop, implement, and review Individual Service Plans, Abuse Prevention Plans, and Emergency Service Plans
Assist with client admission and discharge processes
Administer medications according to policy and procedures

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or related field
2,000 hours of experience providing clinical services to adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
Valid driver's license
Car and auto insurance
Ability to handle behavior emergencies and de-escalate crises

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or related field
2,000 hours of experience providing clinical services to adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, or 4,000 hours supervised work experience if no college degree
