The Clinical Lead Mental Health Practitioner will provide treatment services and clinical direction in a group home setting to adults with serious persistent mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders, promoting recovery and community integration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a group home with four residents
- Provide supervision and clinical direction to staff
- Coordinate client care, including medical, psychiatric, and dental appointments
- Coordinate with community professionals, treatment teams, and hospital staff
- Update client treatment plans, crisis plans, and other assessments
- Conduct weekly staff meetings at the house
- Assist staff during licensing and audit visits
- Develop, implement, and review Individual Service Plans, Abuse Prevention Plans, and Emergency Service Plans
- Assist with client admission and discharge processes
- Administer medications according to policy and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or related field
- 2,000 hours of experience providing clinical services to adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
- Valid driver's license
- Car and auto insurance
- Ability to handle behavior emergencies and de-escalate crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or related field
- 2,000 hours of experience providing clinical services to adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, or 4,000 hours supervised work experience if no college degree
