Perform professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis as a CT Technologist, under the direction of a Radiologist or Physician designee. Produce and evaluate images and related data for medical diagnosis, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform all professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level
- Act in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards
- Produce and evaluate images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis
- Perform related clerical tasks
- Assume responsibility for coordinating exams performed
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- California Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire
- Experience as a CT tech or Imaging Tech in a related field
Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Experience in a related field as a CT tech or Imaging Tech.
