About This Role

Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the guidance of a Radiologist, providing patient care to various age groups. This role focuses on using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist
• Provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics
• Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular)
• Competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
• Provide more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
• 1 year of CT experience
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R) (CT)
• Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
• 1 year of CT experience
