CT Tech

About This Role

This role involves performing high-quality CT scans, monitoring patient safety and comfort, and documenting patient information. The CT Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to produce accurate diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and image quality
• Monitor and assist patients during imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns
• Ensure patient safety, following protocols to prevent radiation exposure
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and imaging results
• Assist radiologists in reviewing images and obtaining additional views if necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the imaging area
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and quality control standards

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current certification in CT from a recognized board (e.g., ARRT)
• Strong knowledge of radiographic and CT imaging techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a CT Technologist role
• Familiarity with various CT machines and advanced imaging techniques
