About This Role

Provide per diem anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL, a regional medical center and teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
  • Obtain and/or verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitor the patient's physiological condition
  • Perform clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
