Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes within a nationally recognized healthcare system.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care services to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Perform advanced clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including APPs, nursing staff, and specialty consultants, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical innovation efforts
- Engage in clinical research and teaching opportunities as available
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Support evidence-based practice and patient-centered care delivery
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine
- Eligible for or holding active state medical licensure
- Critical care and ICU management
- Advanced clinical decision-making
- Ventilator and hemodynamic management
- Multidisciplinary collaboration
- Patient and family communication
- Quality and safety-focused care
Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine
- Experience in a similar role preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
