Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes for a leading overhead crane solutions provider. This role involves troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, consulting with customers, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns
- Generate sales leads during service calls
- Accurately and neatly document work performed on service reports
- Perform new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and start-up
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory
- Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems
- Minimum 2 years hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience
- Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
- Willingness to work overtime
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Must pass drug-screen and background check
- Strong communication skills
- Proven commitment to safety
- Comfort with working at heights
Qualifications
- A.A. degree or Equivalent vocational-training or experience is preferred
- Minimum of 2-year hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance
Nice to Have
- Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming
- Crane maintenance experience
