About This Role

Lead accounting and financial operations as a hands-on Corporate Controller for a multi-site industrial/manufacturing organization. This role involves managing a team, overseeing day-to-day accounting, reporting, compliance, and supporting the CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle accounting including month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation support
  • Supervise AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting staff
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls
  • Oversee inventory, cost accounting, and project-based financial tracking
  • Support tax compliance, audits, and banking/treasury activities
  • Drive process improvements and support ERP systems (Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Partner with leadership on financial performance and operational strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience supervising accounting staff
  • Strong GAAP, reporting, and audit knowledge

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior Controller or senior leadership experience preferred

Nice to Have

  • Prior Controller or senior leadership experience
  • Construction, manufacturing, or industrial services background
  • CPA or MBA
