Corporate Accounting Manager

About This Role

Manage and review daily, weekly, and monthly fund accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP for a portfolio of investment funds. Collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain integrity of financial data.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review daily, weekly, and monthly fund accounting activities with third-party administrators, including NAV calculations, expense disbursements and accruals, and cash management
• Ensure accurate reconciliations of cash, positions, and trades across custodians and counterparties
• Review fund documentation including financial statements and investor reports
• Collaborate with a third-party valuation agent and internal valuation committee to review and book valuations in coordination with fund administrators
• Oversee delivery of comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders, investors, and regulators
• Lead the accounting for complex transactions in compliance with US GAAP
• Work with internal teams to ensure policies are implemented consistently across systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or investment management
• Strong general accounting knowledge
• Deep understanding of investment products, fund structures, and financial instruments
• Proven track record of working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or investment management
