Lead a newly created hybrid role combining strategic accounting, cost management, and pricing oversight for a well-established supplement manufacturer. This role offers a clear growth path to Controller.
Responsibilities
- Maintain product costing (materials, labor, overhead) and analyze manufacturing variances to improve profitability
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, and excess/obsolete reporting
- Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close processes and financial statement reviews
- Prepare GL entries, account reconciliations, and budget development
- Supervise staff accountant and own pricing/quoting functions
- Monitor internal controls and assist with audits
Requirements
- CPA
- Accounting degree
- 2+ years general accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Prior supervisory experience
- Advanced Excel skills
