The Copywriter will develop effective copy for packaging, social media, digital platforms, and product messaging to drive sales and foster interest. This role supports the skincare function, requiring expertise in clinical claims and a deep understanding of the beauty category.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with creative and product teams to write effective copy to drive sales and interest
- Create copy for packaging, social, digital and strong product messaging
- Revise and edit existing copy
- Work with producers to write scripts for commercials/infomercials
- Organize ideas in a way that is easy to communicate to the teams
- Develop work that is on strategy and on brand
Requirements
- 4+ years professional experience as a Copywriter
- Ability to effectively communicate across multiple departments (creative, production and producers, marketing)
- Detail oriented
- Previous experience writing product descriptions
- Previous experience writing for consumer goods/products
- Experience writing for packaging
- Experience with social media, product messaging and brand storytelling
Qualifications
- 4+ years professional experience as a Copywriter, ideally 5+ years for this role
Nice to Have
- Working on an in house branding or marketing team
- Knowledge about the skincare category and clinical claims
