As a Cook II at Tre Rivali, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food consistently, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and upholding excellent food presentation for guests. You will follow departmental policies, assist with daily cleaning tasks, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules and regulations.
- Report any maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef.
- Prevent food spoiling and contamination through proper sanitation practices.
- Comply with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area.
- Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests.
- Demonstrate, prepare, and execute each menu item according to specifications and presentation.
- Assist in the daily cleaning of kitchen areas.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a related or supportive culinary position.
- Time management and organizational ability for high-quality food production.
- Experience and proficiency with cooking including garde manger, saute station, fry station, and grill station.
- Experience and familiarity to work at a high level of performance within all meal periods (breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch).
- Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
