As a Cook I, you will prepare and create nutritious dishes, focusing on customer service and reducing food waste within a healthcare setting. This role involves efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting various hot and cold food items for different meal periods.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events
- Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
- May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of previous related experience is beneficial
