About This Role

This Controller role oversees financial operations and provides strategic guidance for a manufacturing company, focusing on cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The position plays a key role in optimizing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Analyze manufacturing costs and implement standard cost accounting practices to improve efficiency
• Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts to guide financial decision-making
• Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
• Oversee auditing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting and documentation
• Utilize Power BI and other tools to generate insightful financial reports
• Manage the bill of materials (BOM) process to ensure proper cost allocation
• Lead cycle count processes to maintain inventory accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budget processes and manufacturing cost accounting
• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data to support business objectives

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in cost accounting, including standard cost accounting and cost analysis
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
• Strong knowledge of bill of materials (BOM) and inventory management processes
• Familiarity with auditing procedures and regulatory compliance
• Ability to manage and optimize budgeting and financial processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
