This Controller role oversees financial operations and provides strategic guidance for a manufacturing company, focusing on cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The position plays a key role in optimizing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting to support organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Analyze manufacturing costs and implement standard cost accounting practices to improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts to guide financial decision-making
- Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
- Oversee auditing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting and documentation
- Utilize Power BI and other tools to generate insightful financial reports
- Manage the bill of materials (BOM) process to ensure proper cost allocation
- Lead cycle count processes to maintain inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budget processes and manufacturing cost accounting
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data to support business objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Expertise in cost accounting, including standard cost accounting and cost analysis
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of bill of materials (BOM) and inventory management processes
- Familiarity with auditing procedures and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage and optimize budgeting and financial processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Qualifications
