This Contract Specialist role supports pre- and post-signature capital contracting processes for medical technology within a Fortune 250 company, ensuring regulatory compliance and audit integrity. The position requires a detail-oriented professional to navigate complex contractual and regulatory environments.
Responsibilities
- Review, audit, and validate all components of complete contractual packages
- Execute complete contractual packages in accordance with internal policies
- Evaluate and enforce pre-execution requirements
- Escalate compliance or contractual issues when appropriate
- Maintain working knowledge of U.S. Antitrust laws, HIPAA regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Support risk mitigation and regulatory compliance efforts
- Apply knowledge across the full capital contracting lifecycle, including acceptance, performance, product installation, billing, revenue management, leasing, purchasing, and asset management
- Demonstrate understanding of capital equipment revenue recognition guidelines and accounting principles related to equipment contracts
- Proactively communicate and partner with multiple MMS Dispensing teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, acquisition programs, and marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of general contract experience
- Strong understanding of commercial contracting processes (contract strategy development, pricing structures, billing and invoicing, product technology, quoting, policy development)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- 1-3 years of general contract experience
Nice to Have
- Structured contract review experience within a regulated industry environment
- Experience supporting capital equipment contracting, compliance review, and audit controls in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical technology setting
