The Construction Materials Testing Technician will perform site observations and construction material testing, collect samples, and complete technical reports to ensure compliance with construction specifications. This role involves traveling to various job sites and coordinating with project managers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform site observations of earthwork, utility backfill, excavations, and foundation construction
- Conduct construction material testing and special inspections
- Collect samples and perform tests to monitor compliance with construction specifications
- Travel to job sites using company vehicles and interact with Design Team, Building Officials, Contractors, and Clients
- Complete technical reports
- Coordinate with Project Managers providing constant communication when on site
Requirements
- High School Diploma or an equivalent education
- Valid driver's license
- Clear Driving Record
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or an equivalent education
- Entry level
Nice to Have
- ACI field concrete testing
- Radiation safety certification
- Construction experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ICC Special Inspection Certifications
- Field Soils Testing experience
