Serve as a Console Operator, providing essential information to callers for a government client and managing incoming and outgoing calls, while maintaining database integrity and assisting in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing calls for a government client in a courteous and pleasant manner
- Understand the organization and functions of the government agency
- Submit updates for directory database, including department names and telephone numbers
- Research manual or automated databases to obtain required information
- Aid in determining information or office as needed
- Relay messages to appropriate departments during emergencies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Basic to Intermediate skill set in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and management personnel
- Ability to work well under general supervision and promote a team environment with a positive attitude
- Problem-solving experience in handling emergency situations and frustrated callers
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience
