About This Role

Provide compassionate non-medical personal care and supervision of safety to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating/feeding
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, trash removal, laundry, and changing bed sheets
• Drive clients to and from planned outings, events, or appointments as needed
• Provide emotional and social support to clients
• Assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation
• Monitor the skin health of the client
• Assist with application and maintenance of prosthetics and orthotics
• Report any changes in the client's status to appropriate team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Active driver's license
• Insured vehicle
• Willingness to travel throughout the county
• Access to a working telephone
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
