About This Role

This role involves providing direct clinical treatment using the I-FAST model to children and families, focusing on strength-based behavior change and empowering them to address challenging behaviors. The position aims to prevent out-of-home placement and promote life-transforming changes for youth aged 5-21.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical treatment using the I-FAST treatment model and principles
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the client and family, gathering information on behaviors of concern and strengths
  • Engage primary caregiver, family members, supports, and community agency staff in change-oriented treatment
  • Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress with supervisor support
  • Receive regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities within the I-FAST model
  • Assure clients have access to 24/7 support as needed

Requirements

  • Experience working with multisystems (Court, Child Protective Services, Schools, OhioRise, Family Children First Council)
  • Experience working with complex family systems and youth experiencing severe emotional/mental health issues
  • Demonstrated high degree of cultural awareness
  • Experience with multi-need individuals and families
  • Broad knowledge of community service systems
  • Willingness to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities
  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression
  • Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment

Nice to Have

  • Current license/certification: LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC
