About This Role

Join a dynamic law firm as a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney, providing comprehensive legal counsel and making a significant impact on sophisticated legal matters, with a focus on business and real estate litigation.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, commercial lease issues, property disputes, business torts and other commercial related disputes
Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct legal research and draft legal briefs and memoranda
Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in a manner that best serves the client’s interests
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Provide strategic advice to clients on legal and business matters
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients

Requirements

JD degree
Licensed to practice law in Ohio
3+ years experience as a litigator with focus on real estate and business litigation
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
Exceptional organizational skills

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Minimum of three years of experience as a litigator, with a strong focus on real estate and business litigation

Nice to Have

3-5 years of commercial litigation experience
Experience litigating and arbitrating commercial disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, and other business-related actions
Experience in matters involving construction and real estate issues
