Commercial Construction Superintendent (Healthcare)

About This Role

Supervise on-site commercial construction activities, focusing on healthcare facilities. Ensure projects adhere to schedule and budget, maintain safety standards, and represent the company as a Best-in-Class leader in job meetings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsible construction schedule and budget
• Coordinate with healthcare facilities regarding documentation such as work permits, preconstruction risk assessments, and infection control risk assessments
• Maintain a safe jobsite for all Kelley Construction and subcontractor employees
• Represent the company as Best-in-Class in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Effectively use computer software for daily tasks including expense approval, communication, and site management
• Communicate with Kelley Construction office and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule

Requirements

• 5 years of healthcare construction experience as a superintendent
• Ability to effectively communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, customers, and architects
• Strong managerial skills
• Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry
• Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software
• Must be able to work in the U.S.
• Ability to travel
• Ability to follow safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions

Qualifications

• 5 years of healthcare construction experience as a superintendent is strongly desired
